You are bidding on on a bronze medallion from Lehigh University commerorating the 100th anniversary of the school, 1865-66 to 1965-66. On the medallion / paper weight, in relief, is the founder of the school, Asa Packer, who hails from and was the richest man at the time, in Mauch Chunk, also known as Jim Thorpe, PA. The medallion has no nicks, dents, or scratches on the front. T are some scratches on the back from sitting on surfaces. All are minor. The only markings on it are of the Medallic Art Company, New York, which started in 1903 by its founder Henry Weil, a highly respected French sculptor. The medallion measures just under 2 1/2 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches high. This is a beautiful relief bronze medallion. I accept paypal, money orders, and cashiers checks.
