This lens is in mint condition. It is recently back from cleaning adjustment and lubrication at Leica Service in Germany. The front and rear elements of both the head and the focus module are flawless and crystal clear. As good as it gets. Focusing is free and with out play. Amazing lens. An optical gem. This is considered optically superior to the 2.8, and was produced in limited quantiy. I have shot with it mounted on a sony Nex : ) a humurous but quite effective combination. The images were tack sharp with remarkable bokeh.
