This auction is for a Leica IIIf rangefinder camera with lens cap. Camera is circa 1950-52 and has a serial number of 585682. Comes with a Leitz Summitar 50mm f1:2 lens. All functions appear to be working including shutter curtains, film advance, rewind, film counter, shutter button etc. Shutter speeds may or may not be accurate. The camera is in very good + condition. Just a small mark on the leatherette on back and a few faint scratches on bottom plate and on top from use. There is NO brassing from wear on this camera. Body looks greats. Leatherette in great shape. Lens works just fine. Diaphragm blades and aperture ring work smoothly. No oil on diaphragm blades. Focus barrel works fine. Optics are scratch free. There is a light haze ring in the glass optic, otherwise it is clear with no fungus. Great looking Leica. Very collectible. *Insurance is included for buyers within the USA only. DON'T LET THIS GO BY!! MAKE YOUR BID COUNT!!! Double your traffic. The haze in the lens as stated in auction is faint and is in a circular pattern . There is no fungus in the lens optics.
