During September 1966, a sixteen year old 'keeper by the name of Peter Shilton signed his first professional contract with his hometown club of Leicester City to become understudy to World Cup winning 'keeper Gordon Banks.Gordon was subsequently sold to Stoke City during April of the following year and Peter took over as Number One between the sticks at Filbert Street. On offer is an immaculate 10" x 8" black and white hand printed original press photograph depicting both of these legendary 'keepers which was taken by the clubs official photographer on the same day that Shilton signed professionally for the club. The photograph itself is rare and a framed copy currently hangs upon the wall of the tunnel area of The King Power Stadium. This particular photograph has been clearly signed in permanent black marker by both Gordon Banks and Peter Shilton, making it a truly fabulous piece of Leicester City football memorabilia! Both autographs were obtained by me at small private signings. I will provide my usual Certificate of Authenticity (COA) as a money back guarantee, so why not grab yourself a rare and unique piece of Leicester City footballing memorabilia!
