No switch-plug and play. Hangs via two small enclosed round hooks. Thus, the canoe will be UPSIDE-DOWN when hanging. Plastic body. Has some modest scuffs/scratches-not bad. Absolutely phenomenal piece-obviously can hang/display in other places.
