Leitz Elmar lens f = 9cm 1:4 As far as I can ascertain, this lens dates from 1938. As can be seen on the photos, it is well worn and brass is showing through the black paint, which gives it some character. Everything works fine but the glass is marked somewhat, although it may not affect photographs. It may even enhance portraits! A clean/polish would not go amiss. It has a generic front lens cap and a keeping mount/cylinder. It is a Leica screw mount but adapters are available to convert to the "M" mount or to some digital cameras.
