Lem Ward (1896-1984) produced some of the best-loved wildfowl art extant today. He & his brother grew up along the marshes of the Chesapeake Bay & created carved & painted ducks to please their independent selvesùas works of art, not just for hunting. It is signed, dated, and numbered by Lem Ward in 1972 twice. Once on the print as a part of the picture, and once in the bottom right hand corner below the print in his hand writing. It comes not framed. These are a real steel at the price.
