You are bidding on a gorgeous plate collection from the well known artist Lena Liu. This is her limited edition collection entitled "Lena Liy's Hummingbird Treasury".The plates are crafted in fine porcelain from an original work painted on silk and issued in an edition strictly limited to a maximum of 150 firing days. Each plate is numbered and signed by the artist and was made at the W.I. George Fine China Co. This collection of 8 plates was sold by the Bradford Exchange. I am selling plate # 1,2,3,4,6,7&8. I am missing #5. The plates measure 7 3/4" in diameter. Each has a different hummingbird & floral design with pretty golden edging. Each plate is in excellent condition and free of any scratches, chips or flaws! Along with the beautiful plates I am selling the shelf that was created precicely for this collection. It is made of cherry wood and measures 41" wide x 16" high. It was made to hold 4 plates on each shelf.In the center on the bottom shelf it a brass placket with the name of the collection inscribed. This shelf is used, but is in good shape.
