These are beautiful little treasures by Bradford Editions in 1994. The plates are miniatures from Lena Liu's Hummingbird Treasury , each plate measures 3 1/2 " across. Five of these little plates are perfect, one of them has a chip on the back which does not show from the front of the plate. Along with them comes a wooden display shelf decorated with flowers and a hummingbird, with a brass plate inscribed Lena Liu Hummingbird Treasury . Shelf is 13 1/2" wide and 20" long, and was made especially for this collection. Plates are titled as follows: Plate #1 - The Ruby Throated Hummingbird Plate #2 - The Anna's Hummingbird Plate #3 - The Broad Billed Hummingbird Plate #4 - The Violet Crowned Hummingbird Plate #5 - The Rufous Hummingbird Plate #6 - White Eared Hummingbird Originally, t were two more issues in this set. Unfortunately, my plates #7 and #8 were broken in an accident several years back. I have not tried to locate replacements for the two broken plates so I don't know how difficult this would be. The wooden shelf is made to accomodate all eight plates, so it would be nice to have the two missing ones.The #6 plate, White Eared Hummingbird is the one which has the chip on the back.
