*NO RESERVE* - This auction is for a Lenci Doll that i purchased a few years ago. The original box, with the certificate of authenticity, was stolen. The doll obviously was not in the box at the time. The theives were not there for the doll, it was just there along with the electronics, so therefore they didnt look inside. The doll was in the sun-room sitting on display for the family to see, who were coming in to town. I did see the pictures of the box and the papers that she took when she first bought the doll. I dont remember the dolls name, or the year she was crafted. I saw enough to make the decision that she was real and authentic. I have kept this doll in a thick, heavy, huge glass dome that was destroyed last week by accident. If you put your nose up to this doll (her hair, clothes,e.t.c), you wont smell nothing but freshness. No smoke, mildew, nothing of any kind. Now, i dont know what her hair is made of, but when you rub it back and forth in your fingers it feels like silk. Seems like it has a very, very, very light (stinky!) undertone as thought it might be real hair, maybe mohair? I dont know and cant remember if it was mentioned in the papers. Im only selling it now because i need the money. Tags/Markings/Condition: As you can see in the picture, the number on the back of her neck reads EA 148. Up under her dress, read more
