This is the cream of the crop !! ~RARE~ magnificent piece made by Lenox 2002 in a Limited Edition. ~The Lenox Ocean Fantasy Seahorse Carousel Sculpture~ is crafted of Lenox fine porcelain accented with 24 karat gold, hand painting, bears the Lenox hallmark and stands 9" tall. The late 1800's was the Golden Age for carousel art in America. A time when exotic "menagerie" animals were often a very popular theme with master carvers. Inspired by those fanciful turn-of-the century creations, the artists of Lenox have created The Ocean Fantasy Seahorse Carousel, a striking carousel sculpture. Just like the carvers of old, the artisans of Lenox have sculpted this unique animal in amazing detail. The sculpture is mounted on a golden carousel pole set into a polished hardwood base. This piece was displayed in curio of a smoke free home. I no longer have box or COA but will pack with care.. you pay actual shipping and I fully insure your package when shipped.
