For sale are TWELVE double-handled cream soup or bouillon bowls in Lenox's world-reknowned "Autumn" pattern, together with 7-inch under-saucers, also referred to as cream soup stands. Because the stands are flat (not indented like a typical saucer) they are larger than many cream soup saucers in other china patterns and do double-duty as dessert plates. Autumn has been in continuous production by Lenox since the company first introduced the pattern in 1918. Julie Nixon chose Autumn has her wedding china in 1968 and the timeless beauty of the more than 400 enamel "dots" applied to form the floral and fruit basket motif still makes it a popular choice for brides 35 years later. The twelve cream soup bowls in this set are in excellent condition. Their prior owner took outstanding care of this set, using them only on special occasions and always hand-washing them. These bowls and under-plates are in beautiful condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing. Each soup bowl is 4 3/4 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall. The stands are 7 inches in diameter. These soup bowls and stands are part of a large set of Lenox Autumn that we are listing.
