This particular decorated BROWN mark or stamp with the cursive letters "CAC"encircled with the painterÂ's palette at the top , which has a single brush at the top of the palette with the color dots at the bottom and BELLEEK underneath was only used for a ten year time period from 1896 to 1906. During this time period LENOX used three marks. T are different variations of the LENOX BELLEEK mark, which were used after 1906, but this particular mark was used during that period. That dates this beer stein at over 100 years old! This 100 year-old, hand painted, gold banded top rim beer stein depicts a Monk holding a wicker basket with grapes, apple and wine bottle as he enjoys a delightful sip of wine. This LENOX BELLEEK stein, which stands 5 3/4 inches tall, is in great shape. Stein does not have any scuffs, chips or cracks. The ONLY blemish is a tiny scratch to the back as seen in photograph four and extremely light wear mark on the base, which is to be expected (not bad for 100 years). This stein has never been refinished or repaired in any manner. This is your chance to own a piece of LENOX history.
