Up for auction is a Lenox Incorporated (Formally the Ceramic Art Company) of Trenton, New Jersey (1889 to Present) Blue, Porcelain Pitcher-Vase with the Green Lenox Back-Stamp, Circa 1940's, along with a White Handle and Gold Trim. This beautiful and stunning Lenox porcelain pitcher and / or vase adorns their old blue colored porcelain and the form is one which I believe they finally retired in the 1970's or 1980's. This particular Lenox example has a variation of the green colored mark they used from 1930 to195 and this item could could be purchased to use as a small pitcher or as a vase. This pitcher was manufactured a little later because the "Made in USA" is straight across the bottom and not curved. This piece has absolutely no chips or cracks of any kind and t is no glaze crazing or stains either. This piece has a lovely white handle that accents it well and about 99% of the gold trim around the top edge is intact. T is a very tiny amount missing on the pour lip and it's not even noticable unless you have your nose right into the piece. This piece is 5 1/2 inches tall and the base is an oval measuring read more
