Offered is this lovely set of TEN bread plates made by Lenox in an ever-popular pattern known as The Autumn and later as simply Autumn. This pattern was first introduced in 1918 and remains in production today. These plates have the older silver mark. They measure 5.75 inches in diameter (14.6 cm). These fine porcelain china plates feature hand enameling to decorate the floral and fruit basket design in the center of each plate. More hand enameling appears on the rim, framed by a blue band of scrolls and acanthus leaves. Gold trim highlights many elements of the design, including the rim and either side of the decorative band. The plates are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.
