On auction is a new, with sticker 16" LENOX serving PLATTER in the HANCOCK PLATINUM pattern. Part of the Presidential Collection, the platter measures 16" x 12 1/8". The platter is crafted of ivory fine bone china and accented with precious platinum and hand enameled white dots. The dramatic black border is decorated with a beautiful design with the white hand-enameled accents. The platter is brand new and still has the sticker on it. The sticker shows a MSRP of $331 and a buying price of $231.70. I bought this lovely platter at blow out clearance sale at the Lenox outlet. I was assured that this was a first quality by a few of the workers t - I cannot guarantee this - I can only tell you what I was told. The platter does have some stacking marks that can be seen when you hold it up to the light. These platters were stacked one on top of the other. T was some padding in between, but apparently not enough. Also, on the back rim on which the platter stands, I see a flake. T are some tiny little bites on the rim as well. As a result, even though I bought it as first quality, it can no longer be considered in piristine condition. It is for these reasons that this beautiful and expensive platter is being auctioned at this very low beginning price. I have a matching 13" platter on auction separately - I will be happy to combine shipping for saving.This is a brand new platter - bought right from the warehouse with the sticker still on it. The platter is dishwasher safe. HOWEVER, never use harsh heavy-duty detergents, scouring powder, or stell wool pads - THEY ARE TOO ABRASIVE!!! SHIPPING AND HANDLING : High bidder pays a minimum of $12.50 (this is a big platter) for shipping, packaging, and insurance is additional. Shipping could be more or less. Final shipping cost depends on distance from New Jersey . We combine shipping on multiple auctions to save on costs. The United States Post Office has increased their shipping costs!! We will try to calculate your shipping costs as cheaply as possible. We also ship via UPS or FedEx. If you check our feedback, you will see that we are fabulous packers and your precious items are well protected. We include a very small packing fee - packaging is well worth it! It depends on the size and number of items we are packing for you. Sorry, we cannot be responsible for lost or broken items. We will be happy to assist in the event an insurance claim becomes necessary. PLEASE take this into consideration when deciding on whether or not to take insurance for auctions w insurance is optional. INVOICING AND PAYMENT: PLEASE DO NOT PAY WITH PAYPAL UNTIL INVOICE NOTIFICATION. We will send an invoice within 24 hours of auction's end. If for some reason we are unable to do so within that time, we will contact you. High bidder must contact seller within 3 days of auction's end, and payment is due within 10 days of auction's end. International bidders are welcome if they RETURN POLICY: When you receive your item, and you sincerely feel that we have seriously misrepresented the item - please contact us immediately, and we will do everything in our power to resolve the situation to your complete satisfaction. If necessary, we will gladly return the auction price and shipping cost. PLEASE do not leave negative feedback as a first course of action.
