This is a1996 Annual Limited Edition, hand numbered Collector Plate from the Sentiments of Roses Collection by Lenox with Certificate of Authenticity and comes in original box. Plate stand is not included. Plate is in mint condition. Measures 10 1/2" diameter. It is hand numbered on the bottom "E632" and strictly limited to 9,500 plates worldwide. Plate is hand crafted from fine ivory china accented with gold. "Peace" is the first in a hand-numbered, limited edition series of Lenox gold-banded fine china plates depicting wreaths created with America's most beloved roses. Bottom of plate gives history of the Peace rose in gold lettering---"bred in France during WWII by Francis Meilland, the Peace budewood was flown to safety in the United States in 1940 on thte last plane to leave Paris as the city fell.
