From sculptor extraordinaire Leo Smith during his very brief tenure with Department 56 w he created a series of Santa and other figures as a part of the Ourtown Series, this is a simply spectacular resin cast sculpture based on the original wood carving by Smith. This 13.5" tall piece is in like new condiiton, removed from the original box and packing only for this picture. Cast in 1999, these are extremely rare and the Leo Smith Ourtown series is even more sought after than many of his earlier Midwest pieces. A truly mint in the box piece for the Leo collector. A note on shipping: These things are incredibly delicate. I will pay special attention to shipping and packaging on this, using an oversized box but will still require insurance. SHipping and insurance costs are adjusted to accomodate this.
