You are bidding on a Native Alaskan walrus ivory Leopard Seal carving mounted on a piece of fossil walrus tusk. It is 5" long and 2.25" tall. It is in excellent condition. California buyers will pay 8.25% sales tax. Shipping and insurance is $15 within the US and $30 worldwide. This lot is fully guaranteed. I will refund your money if it is not as described. I will be offering many more items from the collection of Dr. Bob, a doctor of veterinarian medicine. He passed away last December at the age of 86. Dr. Bob spent a great deal of time in Alaska, back in the 60's he went on an actual (legal) whale hunt with the Inuits. To his credit he volunteered his services for more than 10 years to the Iditarod Race in Alaska. He was appointed as the Official Iditarod Veterinarian one year in the late 1970s. The items I have listed come from his extensive collection acquired mostly during the 1960s and 1970s. T are numerous items from the Peter Mayac family as well as from many other fine Native Alaskan artists.
