Le Coupable is part of the collection of "Les Maitres de l'Affiche" and has the dry stamp an registration which is accompanied on all 256 "plates" from the series. Les Maitres de l'Affiche (The Masters of the Poster) is a series of small format posters, meticulously hand lithographed from the original large format advertising posters. Hand-carved lithographs by over 90 artists were produced, stamped and numbered from 1896-1900. Today the 256 color plates from Les Maitres de l'Afiche series very in condition and availability, and are widely sought after by collectors and art enthusiasts alike.
