Daredevil Ward Lock 1929 UK First Edition A very early (undated but research points to 1st edition) thriller from the Author with only his first four titles listed, including the also printed 1929 'Meet the Tiger' (being the first Saint title later changed to 'The Saint Meets the Tiger). Olive coloured boards only VG, with black titles/decor to front & spine, signs of handling/rubbing to prelims/corners & top/tail spine. Internally VG, no inscriptions/marking evident, pages clean & tight. A surviving original front jacket inside flap with price & title summary is also present, having been used as a book mark for many years.
