Leviathan, Unpunched + over 80 Pages of MegaExtras!! Designed by Jordan (Battletech) Weisman - One of the Top Three Designers in the adventure gaming industry! FASA 1989 See SuperSize Images! Leviathan is complete with all game parts in new or close to new condition with a few minor exceptions as cited below. The 22 3-dimensional pieces are all present and in new or close to new condition though some have minor rub wear. The 4 sheets of counters are unpunched and in new or close to new condition except for 4 counters which have some rub wear, though one of the blue counter sheets (see SuperSize image #5 below) of the one inch square counters was printed an eighth of an inch off; a bit of the graphics ran off the edge, but for playing purposes they are fully functional. The two maps pictured below are in close to new condition. The 64 page rulebook and 16 page forms book are in close to new condition. The interior pages are white with no writing or highlighting. The winter 1988/89 FASA Catalog is present and in new condition. The boxes are very solid with no bowing of the top or bottom or splits to the corner edges. The cover art and box are in close to new condition with only minor flaws (see SuperSize Images), while the bottom box has a bit more scuffing dropping in to a high level of excellent condition. To increase the play value of Leviathan the MegaExtras include over 80 pages of rules and game aids for the Renegade Legion series. Most of these will need to be downloaded from the Webguide provided to Renegade Legion sites on the web , though some handy items will be sent with the game. Also included are about two dozen copies of the forms from the form book. FASA had a great knack for putting fun and quality in a box! Leviathan includes twenty-two 3-D starships, historical background, three scenarios, statistics on a dozen large mainstay ships of the TOG and Renegade Legion fleets plus other cool touches to increase the fun potential of the game. Kilometers in length, TOG Leviathans have enough firepower to boil a planet . When facing ships of comparable size, their captains maneuver the ships like the Dreadnoughts of old to maximize weapons coverage. Their opponents do the same, circling in a slow dance leading to a frenzy of firepower with the fate of star systems teetering on the outcome. No ship no matter how large has the power to run all systems to the max simultaneously, so offensive and defensive choices must be made along with those of formation and course. Designed by Jordan (Battletech) Weisman creator of many of the computer game industry's highest selling games. Along with Richard (Magic) Garfield and Gary (D&D Gygax), Mr. Weisman is easily one of the most successful designers ever to come out of the adventure gaming industry. Labor, my highest cost, must be paid for almost solely out of the selling price of the item.
