This is a fantastic item for any historic re-enactment and looks fantastic in a display case or on the wall. This is a very nice reproduction that you will be proud to show off. This hawk is also suitable for light wood work. To make this reproduction look as good as possible the handle is made of a nice wood with a distinct grain that looks best after sanding and a light stain done during the manufacturing process I do have one myself that I have sharpened and after much use replaced the original handle with a hickory handle from my local hardware store. I get many compliments and questions when people see me using it, it is a real conversation piece! T is no BIN, buy it now,
