Title: Late 18th Century Franco-Flemish Tapestry Date/Era/Period: Late 18th Century Grade: FINE Condition: see pictures Origin: France/Belgium Overall Size: 200cm tall x 160cm wide (78.7 inches tall x 63 inches wide) Comments: This is an absolutely stunning late 18th century franco-flemish tapestry. This is an authentic period tapestry which is hand woven, and not of a copy on Jacquard loom, a groundwork or a serigraphy : the authenticity is guaranteed. this tapestry presents a thicker weaving than the one of the other pieces we currently have for sale, but thinner than the figural scene we also have for sale. It has significant fading but the colours are truly stunning. The tones are very soft and it displays beautifully. About us: We are a gallery in the south of Spain which has been open for over 10 years. All of our items go through a selection process and are analysed by at least two specialists before an item can be put up for sale at the gallery or on our website. The team is made up of two doctors in fine arts, one with specialization in Continental Religious Arts of the 17th to 19th centuries.
