Offering for auction a Large and Early Van Briggle Pottery Vase. The vase is design number 797 from the 1907-1912 era! Probably 1909-1910! First designed by Anne Gregory Van Briggle in 1909. Spade shaped Leaves with a absolutly wonderful Frothy Lime Green Glaze with yellow clay showing through! It is marked on the bottom "Van Briggle Colo Spgs" "797" and the Van Briggle AA logo. It also has finishers numbers on both side of the AA "16" left side and "9" on the right side. Super Arts & Crafts look! The vase is approximately 8-3/4" tall by 6" wide at it's widest point. It is 4-1/2" across the top opening. The vase is in very good condition! No cracks! No chips! No repairs! I found a few tiny glaze pops.
