Gorgeous large Meito platter with beautiful floral bordered edge and gold trim. Fancy and elegant patterns throughout. Light to medium blue detail around the edge of platter. Center of platter has a stunning cherubs transferware scene with three cherubs sitting on a soft billowing cloud. One of them is holding a rose branche over his head. Beautiful detail. Rich muted colors and wonderful facial expressions. This gorgeous Meito china platter measures 16" x 11 7/8". Back of platter is marked Meito china, Cecil. Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, repairs, hairlines, or dark spots. Very, very light utensil marks, but you have to look very hard to find them. Edge of platter has very light gold wear, due to its remarkably well kept condition. Perfect old Meito china platter to display on your mantle, china cabinet, or hanging on your favorite wall for you to admire for years !! Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
