This is a wonderful vintage photograph of Palisades, NV taken in 1874 according to the dates shown on the photo. I have no idea if it is an original or copy, but if it is a copy it was likely made many years ago because the photo was removed from a scrapbook of paper stuff dating mostly in the 1930s. The quality and clarity of the image is very good in any case. The photo is approximately 13-1/2" by 11-1/4". Condition is an issue; the item was once glued to a page in a photo album and residue remains on the back (see photos). The right side of the photo is wrinkled from top to bottom about 1" in from the edge. The image shows most of what was Palisades NV including a civil war era steam train pulling some rolling stock including livestock cars and flat cars. This town in Nevada no longer exists.
