Up for auction is this beautiful old art pottery jardiniere. This has a handpainted waterlily with greenery on a dark brown background and a high gloss glaze. The jardiniere measures 9 1/4 inches tall and is 11 3/4 inches in diameter at the scalloped rim. The base is impressed DICKENS WARE 9 WELLER 220 0. This is in good condition with no chips. T is a 5 1/2 inch crack on the backside and a small spot of glaze flecking on the underside of one of the scallops on the rim. This still displays beautifully and would be well worth the restoration.
