This rare photograph, taken of Liberace in swimming trunks with his arm around a waitress, was taken in 1940. On the reverse is written: Copake Country Club, NY June 1940 Waitress and pianist. Little did the amateur photographer realize how famous the "Pianist" would become! The photo has a number of creases and a small tear in the lower border but the image is bright and clear.
