For Auction is a fine fourteen (14) coin set of Liberty Head "V" Nickels from 1897 to 1912. This is a complete year set to give you a great start on a collection of "V" nickels or just add some nice coins to your collection. This set is missing only the 1898 and 1909 coins. The set includes many valuable and rare coins. These coins are in average circulated condition (say AG to VG) with typical wear and problems for this age and type coin. The photos are of the exact coins you will get and I think are very representative of these coins. Should be no surprises here so look at the photos closely for condition since they show much more information than I can write here. The 1907 coins rim is flat on the obverse at 1:00, 7:00 and 9:00. The Liberty Head Nickel is one of the rarest coin sets issued by the U.S. Mint. Never were more than 40 million of these rare coins ever minted in a year and most years it was less than 20 million. Many of these coins have been melted, lost, damaged, and they are frequently found in very poor condition because of the material and design making them rarer still. Please see the photos for the condition. Grade yourself. Overall a real nice short set at an affordable starting price. You will not be disappointed with this one. I hate to see it go. Don't miss out. . I take pride in making my customers happy
