Being offered for auction is a vintage German? stein, that measures roughly 17.5 inches tall. It is absolutly beautiful. The top of the stein is wonderfully decorated, the metal (possibly pewter?) has designs. T is only one imperfection and that is on the lid of the stein. It is an indentation, but can only really be seen from the underside of the lid. It does not detract from the stein what so ever, and most likely could be pounded out. T are what I believe to be German words on the sides of the stein. The continual narration around the stein shows many men and monks drinking ale. The stein it self I believe to be ceramic. The handle has a serpent like skin effect, and at the end t is an evil looking face( pictured) and below that t is a devilish looking face. On the bottom it says "104" I do not know what that means. This piece is in absolutly wonderful condition, and is ready to be put on a shelf and admired or taken to the pub to be drunk out of!! If you should have any questions please feel free to ask!!
