Billions of dollars had been authorized for the manufacture of tanks, trucks, guns, planes, and ships. There were approximately 1.5 million men in uniform. Dorothy Lamour was the choice pin-up of the Army. The bulk of this issue is dedicated to information about the war preparation effort. Lots of terrific 4-color and B/W pictures (see photos). Also included is a complete copy of the radio script for Stephen Vincent Benet’s poem “Listen to the People.” This is a hefty issue of 108 pages, tightly bound, in very good condition. Mailing laber on bottom of back cover. I ship internationally at cost.
