This auction is for a solid walnut serving table or buffet in the style known as "Spanish mission" and is made by the great mission furniture maker known as "Lifetime Furniture." The label is only a partial, but I also have the china cabinet and large buffet that have complete Lifetime labels, so I am prepared to offer a money back assurance that this is indeed authentic Lifetime frunture dating to the 1930s or you will get a full refund including shipping in both directions. The height of this server is 34 inches, plus a bit for the backsplash. The width is 42 inches and it measures 17 1/4 from wall to front. The piece is solid walnut. Those curved pieces on the ends are iron. Someone added a magnet door stopper after the fact that you can see in the open door photo. I give this item an "8" on the proverbial 1 - 10 scale with deductions primarilly for the flaws that you can see in the last 3 photos. 2 faint, but present black rings on the top, and the right end edge is rubbed through the finish and down to raw wood, but the color match is still good. It doesn't jump out at you in the photos or in person, but I reveal all so that you might bid wisely. T are also 2 glue blocks missing from the under side, but the case is tight, the piece is sound, and fit to put in your home. I have been buying and selling used and antique furniture for 14 years and have never seen a set or even a piece quite like this before, so if you want something that is a real conversation starter, and could be used in just about any room in the house, this is a good choice. Shipping/delivery is $150 to any continental point in the lower 48, but is only door to door in the Northeast, which I will do in my own vehicle. If beyond my delivery states, I can have this professionally boxed and shipped to the major Greyhound bus terminal nearest you. You will have to go to the bus station to pick it up. Greyhound is NOT service to your home, but it is an extremely economical way to ship an item this size. About half of that $150 is for proper packing, the other half for the bus ride. I accept check, postal money order, and Paypal payments. RI residents are required to pay sales tax of 7%.
