This patch, as simple as it may seem, will be one of the rarest you will ever find. It is officially licensed. However, it was for a dealership location that never existed. Just months before Lighthouse Harley-Davidson closed its doors for good, it was approved to relocate to Smithtown, Long Island. That move never happened yet...roughly 50 of these patches were produced. That's what makes them, so rare. Plus, it contains the symbol of Smithtown - the Bull. Legend has it that in the 1600's, the colonial governor on behalf of the King of England informed Richard Smith that he would be granted all the lands that he could - within one day - ride his bull "Whisper" around. That land exists today as the Town of Smithtown.-----Being sold by Lighthouse Harley-Davidson of Long Island, NY that closed in December 2011.-----Also, visit us on Facebook (Lighthouse Harley-Davidson). ----Please check out our other auctions.
