This auction is for a Danbury Mint collectible lighthouse. Marblehead Light is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the Great Lakes. Built in 1821 it originally was called the Sandusky Bay Light but was changed to Marblehead Light in 1870. Today the keeper's quarters are used as a museum by the Ottawa County Society. The replica is detailed and precise and was never on display. It is in mint condition with the original box and packaging.
