Vintage 4 lights railroad or street crossing lamp with working light. Has 2 orange reflectors with red glass covers and 2 orange reflectors with blue glass covers. One blue glass cover is cracked but holding firm in place (picture 4). All 3 others in good condition. Marked on top "ADLAKE" (picture 5). Top opens for cleaning and/or changing light bulb (picture 6).Bottom has a 1" x 1-1/4" x 2-1/2" deep slot for inserting into a square peg or pole. Measures 12" tall x 9-1/2" x 9-1/2" between reflectors. All 4 reflectors are showing signs of rusting and other usage marks on the edges and otherwise no chips, cuts or cracks.
Great for driveway, gate or patio lights. Or as decorative party lights.
This is a vintage all metal item and is very heavy. Shipping will be 22.00 to Northwest, Southwest and Southeast USA states. Less to other states closer to Ohio and will refund excess shipping. A very nice, friendly and knowledgeable ebayer (thank you, red_beard_ railroader) emailed the following information about this item:
....nice piece....with original lenses and day targets......used on a "derail" - a clamp that came down on top of the rail that kept cars from rolling out on to the main track from the siding. When lit, the blue lens looks purple and that is wht the color was called on the railroad - "purple".
