Attention everyone what I have for sale is a very nice and rare, mint condition lightweight rucksack favored by most infantry, Special Forces and rangers during Vietnam. The rucksack is totally complete in every aspect and has a DSA code of making it very early in the war. T absolutely no wear of the paint around the shoulder areas and waist area. Not to mention t is still some of the packing tape on some of the nylon straps and t is no fraying, snags or rips anyw In fact I can't find anything wrong with the bag or frame. I'm not even sure this was even issued to anyone. Also I am throwing in a 2qt canteen with cover and a correct period waterproof bag for extras. The 2qt canteen is made by IDEAL, date is 1972 and has no odor or leaks. The cover has no identification on the back but it came with a giant lot of 1972 dated covers and is similar in every way. Cover does not come with a strap. Cover is used but in great shape for it's age. Waterproof bag, has a cotton canvas outer shell with rubberized inside. Bag is almost mint condition but has some minor repairs on the inside. You can't see them unless you turn the bag inside out. Has a contract date of DSA 100-70-C0553. Bag is made by GIBRALTAR FABRICS, Inc. The bag still feels stiff but I attribute that to the almost mint condition of it. Bidding will start at a low price and read more
