Up for auction is a "LIKE NEW" Humidor by Reed & Barton done in the Versailles Design. This humidor is like new IN BOX, by "like new" we mean that this Humidor was a display model in our store and may have MINOR dings or scratches, we do the best to describe each one! This humidor is called the Versailles, it is done in a wonderful Bird's-eye Maple Veneer Finish, and measures 14-3/4" x 10-5/8" x 5-5/8". As you can see in the pictures, t is a crack in the laquer finish and also near the back hinge! This will not affect the humidors ability to retain humidity. The humidor is quite a piece for show. This humidor features the NEW Large Humidification System, produced by the world famous Cigar Company that we all know...we cannot say the product by name, but we all know who it is... (which you can see in the pictures and retails for $105.00 alone!) as well as a Round Analog Hygrometer, which is also pictured. This humidor also includes a duster bag for when you want to put the box away!!!! This case holds up to 100 Cigars, and retails for over $1050 with all these options! ALSO PLEASE NOTE TWO IMPORTANT ITEMS: The elements and the hygrometers in ALL of my humidor auctions are brand new, never used. Watch out for other humidor auctions of Reed & Barton Humidors that DO NOT include these...The factory elements that are included in my auctions are LIFETIME elements. Meaning that they only need distilled water, and they are made to last a lifetime, unlike any other humidification element on the market!! The plaque on the inside will say Display Model, this is because IT IS A DISPLAY model...as it states above...But it is just on t with two sided tape, and easily snaps off----AND the boxes used to ship the humidors might say irregular stamped on them. Some of them have this stamp, and some do not---THESE ARE JUST EXTRA BOXES that I get from the manufacturer to ship the humidors in--IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY ARE IRREGULAR. If you have any questions please ask! Flat Rate Shipping to US Residents via Fedex Ground only $20.00. Bidders outside of the US, please inquire. Read more about Reed & Barton Humidors: Each Humidor is born of the heritage that spans well over a century of woodworking artistry. The prestigious firm of Reed & Barton, singularly renowned as the foremost manufacturer of hand-crafted hardwood chests, produces the family of Colonial and Continental Humidors in the United States. The Humidors are made from American hardwoods, specifically grown in the Appalachian Mountain Region, w trees grown at this higher elevation grow very slowly, lending more stability to the wood and yielding a superior grain. The lumber is Kiln Dried to 6% moisture content before production, which is the average atmospheric moisture content in the United States - an important step that prevents warping or cracking of wood. In the intricate manufacturing process REED & BARTON devotes special attention to every detail involved in the more than 65 separate hand operations required in the creation of each Humidor. The Colonial Series, for instance, is constructed with joints that are mitered and precisely notched to solidly lock the corners together so that they will not move or come apart. The exclusive four-step Mahogany and Cherry Hand Rubbed Finishing Process enhances the grain and texture of the wood, making each humidor truly a "one of a kind" masterpiece. The Continental Series recreated an art-form that originated over 300 years ago in Salerno, Italy. Reed & Barton painstakingly hand-crafts inlays of exotic hardwoods into the humidors to give the Continental Series their classic contemporary motifs. The humidors are then lacquered to a mirror-like high gloss finish, further complimenting the wood's beautiful contrasting tones. Every Humidor is initially constructed as a six-sided box, then cut open to form a separate base and lid sections. In this way, the lid and base will always be flush and fit properly, and the continuity of ...
