THIS CUNARD LINE VIA CARPATHIA/ EX; TITANIC LANDING OR CUSTOM CARD READS "MRS. L. BENTHAM.". LIVERPOOL IS SCRATCHED OVER AND WRITTEN IS SOUTHAMPTON. FOR DISEMBARKING IN NEW YORK IMMIGRATION ~ THIS CARD WAS WITH ANOTHER TITANIC ARTIFACT~ CARD IS CREASED. APPEARS TO BE AGED, BUT CANNOT SAY WITH CERTAINTY WHETHER IS GENUINE. PURCHASED THESE BOTH AT AN ESTATE SALE. HISTORY UNKNOWN. BELOW BORROWED FROM THE WEBSITE IS AN ACCOUNT OF WHO THIS MENTIONED PASSENGER WAS; Miss Lillian BENTHAM, of No. 11 Kay terrace, who was among the second class passengers, is also reported to be on the Carpathia. Her mother and brother, Walter BENTHAM are awaiting with anxiety more direct news. With Miss BENTHAM on the Titanic was William J. DOUTON, of Holley, who is believed to have perished. Mrs. DOUTON, who was stopping with Mrs. BENTHAM yesterday, left for New York last night. Although DOUTON'S name is not in the list of survivors, his wife has not given up hope.
