Midwest Barn has been displayed in a closed curio in my home since 1984. It has no chips, cracks, repairs or other blemishes. The piece is 2.5 ins tall, 3.875 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. The shipping weight will be around 2.0 lbs Midwest Barn is one of the 13 pieces in the " Roadside America 1984 Series " sculpted by American artist Ray Day. Ray Day’s work as a painter, sculptor, historian and preservationist and his attention to detail of American vernacular was a perfect match for the same kind of artistry that David Tate had embodied in Lilliput Lane. Midwest Barn is a model of a typical animal barn found in the north and central parts of the United States. The gabled end of the barn has a pulley system used to raise the heavy bales of feed for the occupants. .
