Up for sale is one 11-11-11 Suncatcher Geocoin.This is one of the Limited Artist Edition (Version 2) 11-11-11 Suncatchers - just 20 have been made and will not be remade.Just a limited number of these will be sold - others might be found in caches or sent as gifts Coin Details This coin measures 2 inches in diameter and 3mm thick, with translucent enamels over textured metal with an antique silver finish.In the center of the coin is a (see through) suncatcher poppy. Around the front of the coin is part of the poem 'In Flanders Fields' by John McCrae. Also featured on the back are barbed wire spirals (representing the trenches), and crosses surrounded by flowers (representing those who died). The front of the coin is a compass rose style design surrounded by some of the most common cach type icons, as well as soldiers and 11-11-11...It is unactivated, trackable on with its own icon, and will come in a protective sleeve with activation retrieval informaiton. Coin Background This coin was made to celebrate 11-11-11, which also happens to be Remembrance Day (also known as Poppy Day/Armistice Day/ Veterans Day). Remembrance day is observed in Commonwealth countries on November 11th to recall the official end of WWI in 1918, where the major hostilities of WWI were formally ended "at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month" with
