Limited Edition 1938 Grumman Goose Die Cast Metal Bank

The 1938 Grumman Amphibian, commonly known as the "Goose", was Grumman's first aircraft produced for private and commercial use rather than military. Despite its commercial intention, this eight-seater saw most of its action in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard. Models fitted with anti-icing equipment and autopilot were used by the coast Guard in chilly Northern waters.

This 1938 U.S. Coast Guard Grumman Goose is another fine quality Gearbox collectible with limited edition production. The Die Cast Metal Coin Bank features:

Heavy Die Cast Metal Hidden Coin Slot (Under the hinged canopy of the cockpit) Working Propellers Rotating Rubber Wheels Quality Tampo Graphics (Coast Guard Markings) Attached Key (The rear wheel can be removed to expose the secret key to the locking trapped door.) 11 1/2 inch wingspan by 9.5 Full color presentation collector box

This retired, highly collectible, quality Gearbox collectible is in pristine condition. It originally cost $52.99 and was displayed in a non-smoking home.
