NWA 2995MOON METEORITE MEDAL Limited production run of only 250 medals This is the first series of NWA 2995 Coins/Medals Route Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY and product ID card. : THE PHOTO ABOVE IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE COIN IN THIS AUCTION This is a shiny "nickel" coin/medal with a photo insert of the Moon and a specimen of the NWA 2995 Lunar meteorite embedded. Each coin measures two inches in diameter, 4.5 mm thick. Attached in a recessed crater on the front of the coin is an authentic specimen (cutting dust) of the NWA 2995 Lunar meteorite. The back of the coin gives basic information on the fall and is sequentially numbered. Production run was limited to 250 coins. OFFICIAL CLASSIFICATION: Northwest Africa 2995 Found in Algeria 2005 Achondrite (Lunar Feldspatic breccia) A 538 g, fully crusted and minimally weatd stone was purchased in Morocco by A.
