United States Marine Corps Presidential Helicopter SquadronExecutive Flight Detachment Challenge Coin I have seen this particular coin a few times and they have always been numbered. I have never seen this version where HMX1 is engraved instead of the number. I know there were 50 of the numbered version and I know I have never seen this version. How rare it is I can only guess, but I assume less than 50 as I have never seen one. As with all my coins, this coin is 100% authentic. Executive level coins are commonly faked here on eBay , but you can be rest assured that this coin is the real deal. It isn't a cheap zinc alloy knock off that you might get if you find an "amazing deal" from another seller. If you want the real deal then you may have to pay a little extra, but you can be rest assured about having an authentic piece of memorabilia. Today I purchased a portion of another collection from the widow of one of the most prolific Marine Corps challenge coin collectors I have ever seen. He also had a lot of other high level coins that I will be listing in the next couple of days. The amazing thing about his collection is the years it spans. He has some of the earliest Marine Corps coins I have ever seen. Even if you don't collect Marine coins you should check out my auctions just to see what he had. Please check my other auctions
