This is a limited edition print by John Weiss. It is signed and numbered. These two adorable yellow lab puppies are called "Rebel and Soda". They are from his earlier works of the 1980's. They are professionally framed and matted and would make a wonderful gift for anyone that has one of these darling animals! The frame measures 19x16"~t is a double matting to add depth and color and enhance these lovable labs!! John Weiss is a well respected artist and has earned many awards and accolades including the Cover of the Year award from the National Dog Writers Association; U.S.Art magazine's Artist to Watch as well as the top print of the year honors. He was commissioned by Lady Barlow to paint a portrait of a dog that was subsequently presented to Queen Elizabeth. Other notable collectors include Jane Firestone, and John's sketch of her German Shepard, Hatter (the winningest dog in dog show history) is part of the AKC Museum of the Dog in St. Louis' permanent collection.
