The definitive collection entitled: " Les Douze Sites Parisiens de Louis Dali." This is a complete set of twelve fine porcelain limoge France plates that are in mint condition. Each of these beautiful, scenic plates has a certificate of authenticity with a booklet explaining the origin of the picture. The collection, issued under the auspices of the "Societe de Paris et son histoire," carries the armorial bearings of Paris in tribute to the immoral City of Light and was created by Louis Dali under exclusive commission for Henri d"Arceau & Fils. In 1970 the French government commissioned Louis Dali to paint his rendition of the twelve sights of Paris. His paintings were so impressive that he was chosen to have his art displayed in American and European galleries. His mentor French impressionist Maurice Utrillo influenced his style. His collection of paintings were used to create these twelve highly collectable premiere edition limoge porcelain plates. This collection is an accumulation of plates purchased through the Bradex Exchange exclusive plate series of famous artists. The plate titles are as followes: The first 6 in the bottom photos are: 1. L' Arc De Triomphe, 2. La Cathedrale Notre Dame, 3. La Place De La Concorde, 4. L' Eglise Saint-Pierre Et Le Sacre'-Coeur De Montmartre, 5. Le Marche' Aux Fleurs Et La Conciergerie, 6. La Pointe Du Vert Galant Et Le Pont Neuf. The last 6 are: 7. Le Jardin Des Tuileries Et L' Arc De Triomphe Du Carrousel, 8. Le Moulin Rouge, 9. Le Pont Alexander III, 10. L' Opera, 11. La Tour Eiffel, and 12. L' Hotel De Ville De Paris. If you are getting this for Christmas it is better at this point to get it sent Priority which will be sent quicker.
