Marcel Proust; Van Dongen (Illus.). A LA RECHERCHE DU TEMPS PERDU. Paris: Gallimard, 1947. 3 volumes in slipcase. Cloth over boards, with pattern stamped in green, purple, and gilt; approx. pp. 700 in each volume, lavishly illustrated with 77 full-color watercolors by Van Dongen. Number 2907 from a limited edition of 8500 copies. All volumes just very lightly rubbed at spine tips and along edges; Volume II a little frayed at tail of spine.
