My Neighbor asked me to sell this for her. A Friend of Her family had kept it in the China Closet for many years and when her friend passed away, her Husband had given it to my neighbor. I believe that a Relative had either painted it or purchased it directly from the Artist..The Story gets a little murky after 80 Years. Anyhow, the Piece is signed and Dated by the Artist 'H.Greenwold' 1/10 '22.' and the Underglaze green Backstamp is Wm.Guerin and Co. Limoges France. This piece is in Outstanding Condition - No Chips, Cracks or Bruises anyw The Gilding is heavy and near perfect (minor use wear on one side of the Handle) the Main Color is almost a Lapis Lazuli Blue with Triangular-Pendulum Accent Designs in a Lusterous Persimmon bordered by the Gilding. Typical Limoges Creamy White, transluscent Porcelain Interior. Measures about 9 1/4 Inches from Spout to end of Handle and 8 Inches in Height. Superbly executed Piece of Transitional Arts and Crafts Porcelain clearly dated. Thanks for looking.
