LIMOGES “ ATOMIST ” SCENT SPRAYThis is a most unusual example of Limoges porcelain which would enhance any dressing table or would sit comfortably in any collection of miniatures having the superb high quality finish one always associates with this outstanding manufacturer. It is a five sided piece of porcelain and the atomiser pump is removed by unscrewing from the top. The bulb which is encased in a sort of pink stitched bag has perished so unfortunately it does not work but this does not detract from it decorative appealI have examined it very closely and can see no other signs of damage or wear, the gilding is superb and the two pictures of courting couples on either side of the ewer are charming.On the underside it has the words “ Atomist LIMOGES ” printed in gilt above the words “ LIMOGES FRANCE ” printed in green. It measures 3” x 3” x 1.75” high and weighs just 114g.It is in excellent condition; the gilding shows no sign of wear and there are no scratches chips etc. that I can see.Enjoy the fun of bidding and Good Luck Buyers from abroad 1.
