Absolutely STUNNING VICTORIAN LIMOGES FRANCE PORCELAIN COVERED BISCUIT JAR estate fresh for sale!! We have another beautiful piece of Limoges from the same estate also up for sale this week~~so please see our other auctions!! This biscuit jar measures approximately 8 inches in height including the lid and 5 inches in diameter across the top!! It is crafted of the finest porcelain associated with the Limoges name and it carries the T & V mark as shown!! It is dated 1899 making it a Victorian piece and over 100 years of age!! The jar is completely handpainted with a gorgeously detailed scene with purple flower sprays!! The unique aspect of this jar is that it has not 2, but 3 handles!! Each handle is scrolled and covered in a thick layer of bright 24 KT gold gilt paint and also along all the edges are the 24 KT gold gilt trim and the top finial!! This beautiful jar is actually a work of art on porcelain!! A stunning addition to your antique Limoges porcelain collection!! Best of all~~no chips, cracks, or defects after all these years!! Must have been a cabinet piece!! Truely stunning!! You must see it in person to really appreciate the attention to detail in the flowers and decor!! This Victorian era Limoges France porcelain ginger jar remains in EXCELLENT condition. Handles are firmly intact, no gold wear~~just a wonderful piece!!
